Guided Forest Walk with Herbalist and Teacher Cameron Strouss

Rising Fawn Gardens will be celebrating Mother’s Day weekend by welcoming a very special guest. Cameron Strouss, owner and funder of Deep Roots School of Foraging and Herbal Medicine will lead an ‘Into the Woods Walk.’ Join us as we wander the trails along Lookout Creek at the base of Lookout Mountain as she shares the medicinal properties our local ecology has to offer. This walk has a limited number of spots and we expect it to fill quickly, so snag your Mom or bestie and come wander with us!
Event Details
The guided medicinal forest walk begins at 10:00 a.m. and will last 1.5 hours.
Preregistration is required for the walk.
Tickets are $30 per person and are limited.
About Cameron
Cameron is an herbalist, medicine maker, wildcrafter, and teacher dedicated to educating and empowering people in reclaiming health, community, and connection to the land through herbal medicine. She is the owner and founder of Deep Roots School of Foraging and Herbal Medicine and has been formally studying herbal medicine for 15 years. She has over 4,000 hours of Sciences and Herbal Education under her belt along with 9 years of clinical work. Cameron is a graduate of the University of Montevallo (with a Biology Degree), the Southeastern Institute for Traditional Herbal Studies, and The Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine with her Clinical Herbal Certification and has been awarded her FH and RH (AHG) and is a Level 1 Aromatherapist.
