RISE Yoga Retreat
Cost: $115
Join Sara Fisher and Daniel Brown as they co-facilitate a day-long yoga retreat to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month. The RISE Yoga Retreat will focus on R (release), I (intuition), S (self), and E (embodiment/empowerment).
The day is structured around the energetic flow of the Ayurvedic day and will start with a light breakfast, introspection, and a guided meditation and movement practice. The afternoon kicks off with an optional group hike (weather permitting) followed by lunch and ends with a sound bath and self-care focused slow flow with an emphasis on self-massage.
In order for attendees to safely participate in the day’s events, this retreat requires participants to have the ability to comfortably lie on the ground from a standing position and stand up from the ground without assistance.
Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, shoes appropriate for hiking, something to write with, and any items attendees would like to bring to make their practice feel more safe and comfortable (journal for reflection, stones, fidget toys, etc.). Yoga blankets, blocks, and straps are provided.
Meal Info: Lite breakfast and lunch will be provided. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be available.

Daniel Brown (they/he) is the face of the deb&flow brand which offers events centered around mindfulness and radical self-care. They began yoga as a physical companion to performance to help with mobility. In recent years the spiritual and mental benefits of the practice have come to hold equal (and sometimes greater) importance. As a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, Daniel incorporates his background in dance to curate a space that allows practitioners to find release and tune in to their bodies. Their class is a meeting of self-trust, intuition, mobility, and so much fun.
